“Ladies and gentlemen! Tonight we will have an auction of fabulous prizes, the likes of which money cannot buy. However, gold can… In your mining team, you need to go and find as much gold as you can. The land is free for teams to mine however if a team is not all together they will be taxed by the referees. You may only have the gold in your gold containers and only banked gold can be used for tonight’s auction. In order to bank the gold you need to go to the weigh station…only gold that has been banked and recorded is safe!
Watch out for some shifty looking characters in these hills though…Bad Bart and his Bandits are rumored to be scouring the area for as much gold as they can get – and there’s nothing they won’t do to get it!”
This game has some very entertaining characters and an educational, yet fun, feel. Campers are working together for a common goal, and we have some great ideas for your camp for what to offer as auction prizes for the gold!
