Crazy Canoe - Discover what you get
Requirements: 1 lake/large pool and a whole heap of silliness!
Do you already run a canoe activity at your camp? Are you looking to extend your canoe program to make it more fun?
Our crazy canoe package is entirely unique. You could create one of your own, with much creativity and time to test out your games, we have no doubt that it is entirely possible and feasible to do so! However, what we are offering you is valuable creativity, insight and experience which will help you eliminate common mistakes and provide a crazy canoe that has a working balance of safety and fun!
What you could do:
- Hire someone to create a fun canoeing activity from scratch. This will take approximately 30hrs+ of work at roughly $10 per hour, and none of our games can be found elsewhere. 100% of this package is fresh knowledge, stemming from 4 years of learning and development by running the activity. You will need to:
- Search for equipment online, in local stores, trade magazines, camp conferences, neighbor camps, etc. (You may already have your own canoes, paddles and life-jackets – if so, great! That’s all the equipment you’ll need).
- Create your own games and structure these into lesson plans.
- Trial and error the equipment and activity to find out safety points and logistical considerations – very important for this activity!
- Search for equipment online, in local stores, trade magazines, camp conferences, neighbor camps, etc. (You may already have your own canoes, paddles and life-jackets – if so, great! That’s all the equipment you’ll need).
NB: Crazy canoe is a unique activity we have created – we searched for similar programs elsewhere and failed to find any information on the internet or in books.
