In our stained glass program, campers will learn to carefully create a pattern in which to arrange their colored glass. They are led through the process until they have a beautiful finished piece which looks both professional and unique.

Stained glass is not accomplished quickly, but then again, most worthwhile things are not. Our lesson plan is structured around creating a quality piece in a safe manner, so campers take away the maximum amount of learning and fun. For this activity, our lesson plan aims to allow campers 3-6 hours to complete their work.

We will provide you with designs to try, a list of the equipment you will need, the full lesson plan, safety guidelines, and a bunch of ideas for how to be craftier once you and your campers have perfected the basics!

A piece of stained glass is a wonderful thing to invest your time into, and campers are not creatively restricted – they can (if they have time) create a masterpiece to take home to Mom and Dad!
