Target-shooting and hand-eye coordination, all taught without the use of video games??? Sounds like a great addition to a summer camp!

Knife and axe throwing are very precise skills used for sport purposes. In a similar fashion to archery, the throwing of these weapons is highly respected and difficult to master (for some!). However, it can drastically increase your coordination and demonstrates tangible results. In addition, we also include blow darts and sling shots in this summer camp program.

Learning to respect such tools is very important for campers, and when the activity is run with strict safety guidelines it is extremely safe. We have written these guidelines into our lesson plans and have run a very successful program over the past 2 years. Campers will be fascinated by this activity, as for most of them it’s something they probably wouldn’t be allowed to do at home. However, doing potentially dangerous activities under careful supervision adds learning into (and takes the risk out of) taking risks.

We have extensive knowledge on building ranges, being aware of safety aspects, where you could buy your equipment from, and how to structure effective lessons which are safe, fun and beneficial to the learning of each individual camper. We’ll send you photos and video footage to get you started, and be on hand to answer any questions you have.

We run a highly professional target practice program, and we will be providing you with everything we’ve learned so that your campers get the most from this activity.
